On April 12, 2019 the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued an immediate product recall on the Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play Sleeper due to imminent dangers associated with its use. If you own this piece of baby equipment, stop using it immediately.

This widespread recall affects 4.7 million Rock ‘n Play Sleepers that have been sold since 2009. The Sleepers sold for $40-$149 at major retailers across the country. The recall concerns all models. The CPSC warns that over 30 infant fatalities have occurred in Rock ‘n Play Sleepers, in many cases after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained.

Owners of a Rock ‘n Play Sleeper should contact the manufacturer for a refund or a voucher. Contact Fisher-Price online at www.service.mattel.com and click on “Recalls & Safety Alerts” or call 866-812-6518 for more information.
