No, Lorex does not offer any monitoring plans. You’ll be responsible for monitoring your security system. Lorex makes this easy, however, through either of their mobile apps, allowing to get notifications, view live video feeds, and even set custom motion zones.
Lorex provides 2 methods for storage: by digital video recorder (DVR) or network video recorder (NVR). A DVR is older technology and processes video through an encoder. Lorex DVR systems use a single BNC cable for power and video transmission. An NVR is newer and processes video at the camera.
