CPI Security offers three base packages with professional monitoring that starts at $29.99/mo. CPI requires customers to pay a minimum of $499 upfront for equipment, but can finance their security system with the CPI Smart Pay program. This program allows customers to finance their system for either 39 or 60 months. Once customers have paid of their equipment, they’ll only be responsible for the cost of monthly monitoring. Compared to other home security providers, CPI’s upfront cost is steep, but the starting price for professional monitoring is about what you could expect if not a little lower when compared to other companies.

CPI offers many different equipment options that make their packages highly customizable to meet your needs, to include multiple security cameras. The inTouch 180 Indoor Camera is unique with its 180-degree view, 1080p HD resolution, and Bluetooth music streaming capability. The wide-angle design of this camera and the pan/tilt capability allow you to be able to view a large area in your home, such as your living room and kitchen at once. CPI Security also has a Stream Video Recorder (SVR), an external hard drive, that will allow you to record footage continuously for up to 30 days. This device can support up to 8 security cameras and comes with storage limit options you can choose from. Compared to other providers, CPI’s external hard drive is unique as most providers do not offer a device like this.

CPI Security also has two warranty programs: The CPI Service Plus Program and the CPI Basic Warranty Program. Under the Basic Warranty Program, parts are covered for 1 year and labor is covered for up to 90 days. Under the Service Plus Program, parts and labor are covered for up to 1 year. Each program has additional terms that apply. Compared to other providers, CPI’s warranty programs offer a short term length for repairs or replacements, which you should definitely take into consideration.
