What Sets MobileHelp Apart?
MobileHelp’s motto is “Help when and where you need it.” This notion is reflected in the medical alert provider’s wide array of products, packages, features and pricing structures. They offer many solutions that instantly connect seniors with MobileHelp’s professional monitoring centers during an emergency. Since there’s so many options, you’re likely to find one that fits your lifestyle and budget.
MobileHelp sorts their offerings into in-home solutions, on-the-go options, and complete protection systems that offer peace of mind both in and out of the home. With any of these, simply signal for help and an operator will respond, assess the situation, and contact the appropriate help for you: a neighbor, family member, or emergency services.
Pros
- Many device and package options

MobileHelp Packages
Our Take
This package is MobileHelp’s basic entry-level medical alert system. Starting at $19.95 per month for 24/7 professional monitoring, the MobileSafe Classic package is very competitively priced compared to similarly equipped packages from other leading medical alert providers.
You don’t need a landline phone for the Classic package, since the base station has built-in cellular connectivity and two-way communication. You can call emergency services directly from the base station, or you can press the help button on your neck pendant or wristband (included). You also have the option to add automatic fall detection to this system by adding a Fall Detection pendant, which costs an additional $10 per month for monitoring.
Package Features
- 24/7 monitoring
- Cellular connection
- MobileHelp cellular base station
- 1 neck pendant or wristband help button
- Lockbox for emergency responder access
Our Take
If you have an active landline phone, the Wired Home package is likely MobileHelp’s best selection for at-home monitoring. This system is slightly more expensive than the Classic package, but it’s a better choice if there’s spotty cellular coverage in your area, or if you want a larger radius in which your wearable monitoring devices will work. While the Classic package’s wearable devices work within 600 feet of the base station, the Wired Home package has a coverage area up to 1,300 feet. The Wired Home package starts at $24.95/month.
Package Features
- 24/7 monitoring
- Landline connection
- Landline-ready base station
- Neck pendant or wristband with help button
- Lockbox for emergency responder access
Our Take
MobileHelp’s Solo package is a streamlined device bundle that works whether you’re at home or away. Instead of a base station, you get a Mobile Device with two-way communication, which you can bring with you wherever you go. Even better, the Mobile Device has built-in GPS location tracking so help can always find you.
Thanks to its cellular connectivity, the Solo package works anywhere that AT&T cell towers can reach. A wearable help button is also included; you can use it to call for help as long as you’re within range of the Mobile Device (approximately 350 feet). The MobileHelp Solo package starts at $37.95 per month; add an additional $10 per month if you want automatic fall detection.
Package Features
- 24/7 monitoring

- Neck pendant or wristband with help button

Our Take
This package gives you the convenience of both an in-home cellular base station and a Mobile Device with GPS tracking and two-way communication, plus a wearable help button. This increases your coverage area and helps ensure that you’re always within range of your devices, so you can rest assured that you can call for help whenever and wherever you need to. Monitoring starts at $41.95/mo.

Our Take
If having more than one Mobile Device will serve you better than an in-home base station will, then MobileHelp has a package for that too. This bundle offers two Mobile Devices with GPS tracking and two-way communication, perfect for providing back-up options or monitoring both you and your spouse. Costs start at $44.95 per month, which is nearly a 2-for-1 value compared to the Solo package. Again, automatic fall detection requires an extra monthly fee.
